Job Description
The Mirion Technologies Product Marketing Manager is responsible for commercial positioning and downstream/outbound marketing strategies for the Mirion Technologies product portfolios. The role will translate the group’s business objectives, market opportunities, and product solutions into a cohesive market strategy matching product to buyers and users (personas) within each market segment. This person is chiefly responsible for developing strategies to drive awareness and sales of new and existing products to meet group business objectives. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. Experience with Demand Generation, messaging and positioning strategy for products and cross-functional leadership is critical for success in this role.
Duties:
Work with product line owners to develop clear product positioning & compelling value propositions for new products within each portfolio.
Launch new product & solution offerings, providing strategy and market-ready content for effective campaign execution.
Ideate digital campaigns, messaging, content & thought leadership in support of new releases and ongoing business.
Support content and sales enablement tools, including product datasheets, presentations, playbooks, white papers, web content, etc. in conjunction with Marketing Communications.
With support from product line owners, maintain competitive insights including competitive gaps, successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, how to sell against, etc.
Define and prioritize target audiences and segmentation within each addressable market across a varied marketing mix.
Gather and analyze global market data (users, prospects, competitors) as input into marketing strategies and material.
Requirements
5+ years of product marketing experience, including B2B, capital, software and hardware.
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with a preference for strong academic performance.
Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel and basic statistics.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
Past experience in digital and content marketing a plus.
Preference for familiarity with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation principles.
Willing to travel 10%.
