Job Description
CALLING ALL WLAN SPECIALISTS! Clover Leaf Solutions is looking for an ENTRY-LEVEL Computer info Systems Specialist to support our client ON SITE in Los Alamos New Mexico. As a Computer Information Systems Specialist, you will join the LANL Wireless Security (WiSec) team and play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of LANL's wireless networks. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around monitoring, detecting, and isolating wireless security events, as well as providing essential support during wireless security investigations. Additionally, you will be involved in the triage of security events, escalating incidents to the appropriate response personnel, and contributing to the overall growth and development of cyber talent at LANL.
THIS ROLE WILL BE FOR THE 3PM - 11PM SHIFT AND COULD POSSIBLY BE HYBRID!
We are looking for someone who can adapt quickly to new technologies and stay updated with the latest wireless security trends. Certifications such as Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus. Previous experience in a similar role or working with government organizations is desirable. What will make you a good Candidate?
Basic understanding of current network and wireless technology including networking protocols, network infrastructure elements
wireless network standards, network applications, services, and related protocols.
Understanding of the wireless security environment, including basic wireless attacks, wireless security violations, and compliance. •
Familiarity with the incident response process and how to apply it.
Understanding of log file analysis to detect security events and troubleshoot device issues.
Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively record and communicate findings and escalate critical incidents.

Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS) Education
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
