Job Description
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Administers Domain Services & Application server environments. Recommend improvements necessary to ensure operation of Choctaw Nation systems.
Primary Tasks:
- You will develop & Maintain environment-wide automations and internally developed solutions using PowerShell, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# & Microsoft’s Power Platform.
- You will perform moderately complex tasks pertaining to enterprise compute environments, including virtualization hardware, physical servers, and hosted systems
- You will assist and lead the tasks of assuring reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication
- You will assure systems performance and stability
- You will assure systems security
- You will design, administer, and improve server OS, including Windows Server 2012, 2016+, and Redhat Linux
- You will perform moderately complex tasks about enterprise domain services, including Active Directory, DNS, & DHCP
- You will apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues promptly
- You will analyze situational data to resolve issues or follow escalation chain.
- You will coordinate maintenance schedule and notifications with internal IT teams.
- You will preform other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
MINIMUM
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or professional IT certification.
- Some experience managing automations using PowerShell & Microsoft’s Power Platform
- Customer service skills
- Perform complex tasks using critical thinking
- Experience managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting system infrastructure based on best practices
- Working knowledge of server operating systems, active directory, and SQL Databases
- Must be comfortable working in an accountable and maintain flexible working hours
- 3 years’ experience supporting important IT infrastructure
You will report to the Information Systems Manager.
