GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to the Manitou North America Director Fleet and Key Accounts Sales Manager, the Mining Fleet and Key Account Manager, North America is in charge of developing Manitou North America's mining business. The Mining Fleet and Key Account Manager proposes and deploys the strategy dedicated to this specific application.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify the key targets in terms of potential market(s).
Propose & deploy an appropriate Sales strategy to sell Manitou Mining equipment into these markets through our dealer network.
Put in place and follow-up dedicated action plans for sales growth.
Develop close relationships with the key players in the Mining sector.
Provide support to our local sales teams in order to promote our solutions to the Mining sector.
Manage the Sales Forecast dedicated to our Mining Business.
Anticipate and propose the allocation of equipment needed.
Responsible for the margin evaluation and follow-up, with the support of the Manitou North America Fleet & Key Account Sales Manager.
Prospect, Develop and Manage the Mining Customers database.
Work closely with our Global Mining Specialists to gain and provide our North America Mining customers the products that are needed in this sector.
Work closely with our Global Mining Specialists to develop new equipment needed in North America.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5+ year’s Sales experience in the Mining sector or similar business.
EXPERTISE:
Exceptional technical background on equipment used in the Mining sector.
Adept at prospecting and closing new business and growing a new customer base securing revenue growth.
Execute key product strategies to introduce new products into the Mining Sector
Total Solution & Value Selling to the Mining sector.
Marketing & Data Analytics of the Mining sector.
Agility to respond to emerging/changing business needs.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and problem solving skills with a distinctive ability to grow our dealer network in the mining sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pricing, engineering, forecasting, marketing and sales operations.
CRM experience.
Develop and produce bid specifications for products used in the Mining Sector.
Work with leadership on new initiatives and corporate strategies to design and deliver the life cycle plan of equipment used in the Mining Sector.
EDUCATION:
B.S. Degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
B.S. in Mining Engineering is a plus.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
Sales Support including; Inside Sales, Parts & Attachment, Marketing, Product Management, Administration, Area Service Managers (ASM’s) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM’s).
Fleet & Key Account customers throughout North America; Executives, Procurement Managers, Fleet Managers, District Managers, Branch Managers, Sales Managers, and Service Managers. Will also interact with Third Party Suppliers such as Service Centers and Used Equipment/Auction Houses.
LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
