AS A MANUFACTURING IT/LEAN SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Be the first call for hardware & application issue diagnostics, configurations, coordination of platform support, troubleshooting applications, scanning systems, manufacturing line technology (scanners, monitors, sensors), etc.
Initial triage and problem determination.
Lead continuous improvement projects.
Assist with lean implementation plans.
Provide technical support in VSM events.
Confirm and support KPIs and best practices.
Assist with production line test machines diagnostics coordination
Support the MRO vending machines.
Coordinate with Enterprise IT for routine upgrades and replacements also work with Enterprise IT for scoping and requirements (i.e. final process, configuration, and control upgrade; assist with the line, plant network drops, power (coordinate with maintenance), workstation stands, unique system requirement definitions, etc.).
Configure and troubleshoot label printers, shop printers, etc.
Configure and troubleshoot DNC related items, such as connecting CNC machines via MOXA and troubleshooting communication issues between the CNC machine and the DNC (CIMNET).
Configure and troubleshoot scan guns.
Be accountable for unique plant applications, databases, and interfaces.
Aid with troubleshooting issues with Baan, Delphi, Oracle, & SAP in the manufacturing environment.
Provide basic PLC support.
Assist with plant on-prem application servers and applications.
WHO YOU ARE:
You analyze issues to define the problem accurately before resolving the issue or calling appropriate resources. You can quickly adapt to a changing environment and priorities to support the production line. You can learn new things quickly and apply them to support the business. You are the Bi-directional conduit between Plant, Platform, and Enterprise IT. You apply your IT systems knowledge to help improve processes for the better - using technology. You will be a trusted resource in the plant for others in explaining, solving problems, and helping the operation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field
2+ years of experience in the information technology field with emphasis on :
IT Helpdesk support and troubleshooting
Understanding of basic business processes - materials, production
Data communications
Windows operating system, SQL server environments
Solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to develop a plan, collaborate, and communicate clearly to get results
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
Must have a strong interest in learning new technologies and adapt to changes quickly
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to travel up to 5% for the position.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Experience with PLC programming and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
