Job Description
Overview:
Responsible for collaborating with the IT Security Team, Technical Services Team(s) and the CIO in supporting the defined security requirements and maintaining relevant policies for Huntsville Hospital Information Technology. Responsibilities also include the implementation and ongoing support of the security profiles defined by the team. As the IT Security Administrator, responsibilities include but are not limited to providing support, guidance, and tracking of security log and related events. Providing reporting and working collaboratively with the IT Security Team
Qualifications:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP
Thorough understanding of firewall and web proxy system administration.
Fundamental understanding of deep packet analysis
Fundamental understanding of application log analysis
Fundamental understanding of incident response procedures
Education:
S. or A.S. in Information Assurance, Cyber Security, Computer Science, etc.
CCNA Security, CCNA Route/Switch, Security +, CEH preferred
Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience preferred working within the IT Security arena including but not limited to: Implementation, deployment, and management of firewall and web proxy technologies. Providing troubleshooting support for applications on the network and supporting remote connectivity to vendors and staff required. Experience with incident response methodologies helpful. Experience in the following a plus: Response plan development, programming/scripting previous use and in depth knowledge using Wireshark/tcpdump or other packet analysis tools.
