Job Description
Overview:
This position exists to support various clinical & patient front-end and back-end business information systems that are used within the Huntsville Hospital Health System. This position is responsible for ongoing system and user support, particularly during implementations of new information technology, functionality, or system use. The position works closely with Systems Analysts, Clinical End Users, Technical Staff, and occasionally System Vendors. Participation in on-call support is required.
Cerner system experience preferred. Areas in need of support:

Qualifications:
Education:
Require Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Computer Science. May consider the equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Experience:
1-2 years of Healthcare Information Technology experience. Experience that is a plus:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage a stressful work environment.
Have a working knowledge of hospital processes and workflows.
Prefer experience in Business Objects/Power Insight report writing.
Requires the ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
