E-Commerce Manager

Job Summary
Joining Amana Meat Shop as an E-Commerce Manager offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our online presence. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our revenue and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. We would love to have you on our team if you are collaborative and passionate about e-commerce, customer service, digital marketing, and the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan including direct mail catalog and digital sales strategies to drive overall digital presence, optimize the user experience, and maximize online sales revenue.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform ensuring a smooth user experience and high-quality customer service.
- Lead Call Center Sales staff and the Online Customer Service Coordinator to address customer inquiries, and complaints and resolve any issues related to online/catalog sales.
- Continuously assess the digital and catalog's effectiveness and recommend improvements based on customer feedback and sales data.
- Identify new opportunities to expand the online presence and revenue streams.
- Manage and grow corporate gifting relationships and revenue.
Online Order Management
- Assist sales staff with overflow calls and order entry as needed.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate regular reports to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory levels to optimize sales and meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements to improve the website's functionality.
Digital Marketing and Sales
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media marketing.
- Optimize product pages and content to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and promotional activities to drive sales and customer retention.
Customer Experience
- Enhance the user experience by ensuring intuitive website navigation, a simplified checkout process, and responsive customer support.
- Collect customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train and support the needs of the Sales Staff and Customer Service Coordinator.
- Implement effective customer retention strategies, such as personalized recommendations and loyalty programs.
Competitive Analysis and Market Research
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging e-commerce technologies.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to optimize inventory management and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Collaborate with finance and forecasting teams to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and pricing strategies.
- Work in partnership with marketing teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns that support sales initiatives.
- Work closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure that catalog and online content meet customer needs and preferences.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Five (5) or more years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in the food or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website analytics, and digital marketing techniques.
- Experiences working with agency partners and marketing teams to create successful new campaigns and programs
- Familiarity with catalog management systems, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC advertising, email marketing, and social media strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire sales and customer service teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to e-commerce.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
