Join Aprio's Information Technology team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to join their dynamic team.
As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architectures
Position responsibilities:
Designing and architecting cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Translating business requirements into scalable and secure cloud architectures.
Selecting appropriate Azure services and designing cloud infrastructure components.
Configuring and optimizing cloud resources for performance, cost, and scalability.
Ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery of Azure-based applications.
Partner with Aprio’s internal security team to ensure or establish standards that protect Aprio’s data and environments.
Collaborating with development teams to provide guidance on cloud-native application development.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure cloud services.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Azure cloud technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
Proficiency in architecting and deploying applications on Azure, utilizing services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), etc.
Understanding of security principles and best practices in Azure.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises infrastructure with Azure.
Knowledge of Azure monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
Familiarity with Azure governance and management tools like Azure Policy and Azure Blueprints.
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
