Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Working closely with the Senior Director, Admissions Team, and Marketing & Communications personnel, this position will work to develop strategies and execute tactics that will increase the quantity and quality of MBA and MS enrollment. Incumbent is responsible for creating effective, compelling communication plans and targeted messages to all types of MBA and MS candidates within the admissions pipeline. This person will create and execute marketing plans and event management processes for the entire department as well as each individual program. This person will also collaborate on marketing efforts with relevant third party vendors who are engaged to drive market demand.
The incumbent will also serve as a liaison to our CRM databases and is expected to manage communication to all contacts throughout the admissions funnel.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
Experience:
3 – 5 years of progressive professional experience in an academic or corporate environment
1 – 2 years experience in a marketing, recruiting or client interfacing role
Experience with writing copy; professional, marketing or advertising
Experience with the creation and/or management of a database
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven customer service orientation
Highly developed skills in working with CRM databases
Proven ability to make effective use of time, plan ahead, and coordinate multiple projects
Highly developed organizational skills
Pays strict attention to details
