Job Description
Medical Office Assistant
Job Description
Courtney Kelm, PA-C, owner and provider for Full Circle Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, is excited to find a Medical Office Assistant to join her in Phoenix, AZ. Full Circle is a patient focused, concierge style practice that is rapidly growing and needs help stabilizing and ensuring we continue to operate effectively. It is a very unique, warm and friendly environment but the position may largely be remote (to be discussed). The ideal candidate will share core values of being compassionate, proactive, collaborative, and trustworthy. Prior medical experience is not required as it is an office admin position, not a clinic position. There may be an opportunity to grow more of a clinical treatment role as well if desired.
Job Responsibilities
Phones/Scheduling - Receive and manage a low volume of incoming calls and emails from patient/client. Schedule and Modify appointments. Serve as a liaison between patient/client and provider for questions.
Patient/client relations - Help organize lists for cards meant for patient/client and referring entities (Thank you, Birthday, Thinking of You, Just Because...) to keep the personalized touch alive. Make calls to confirm patient/client info and to re-connect with them and referring partners. Help with social media posts if desire. Bring ideas to help promote connectivity and enhance patient/client experience and value.
Admin for back office - Help build templates and forms. Help provider stay organized and on top of tasks. Problem solve on back end; help with rare phone issues if they arise and rarely serve as liaison with IT and SEO team to fix concerns about website or SEO. Help maintain office supplies inventory as assigned by management. Bring ideas about best organizing practices to help run smoothly and effectively.
Admin for patient/client - Help with overflow call backs, orders, faxes, emails, medical records, prior auth. Provider will manage most all of these but it helps to have back up. Other potential responsibilities as the company grows.
