Job Description
Job Title: Fundraiser assistant
Duties:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals
- Cultivate relationships with potential donors and maintain relationships with existing donors
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and volunteer coordination
- Write compelling grant proposals and reports to secure funding from foundations and other grant-making organizations
- Utilize various fundraising techniques, such as direct mail campaigns, online fundraising platforms, and major gift solicitation
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for fundraising initiatives
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely acknowledgement of donations
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in fundraising or sales roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using fundraising software and CRM systems
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends
