Marketing Specialist - Social Media OneWater Marine/Revver Digitals' marketing and strategy team is seeking a Social Media Specialist to provide project marketing support for various marketing programs and initiatives. The candidate will help create consistent brand messaging among social media platforms to promote growth and generate leads for our clients, marketplaces, and products. The Social Media Specialist will also assist in the planning, implementation, and management of our client’s social media accounts and general online presence.
Responsibilities include:
Planning, creation, and implementation of social media strategies for Revver Digital, our dealerships, and marketplaces
Create robust social media content calendars that align with our editorial goals and audience interests.
Manage content across multiple social media platforms with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Manage social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with audiences.
Identify insights and social media trends of campaigns through data analytics.
Collaborate with the marketing team including copywriters, SEO experts, and designers to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales.
Monitor, engage and grow online communities through best-practice community management.
Research and analyze competitor social media communities and social channels.
Consistently meet deadlines and cross-departmental campaign timelines.
Support internal creative workstream as a copywriter.
Requirements:
Specialized Skills (not required but preferred):
Track record of participating in successful marketing campaigns that lead to sales growth.
A thorough understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.).
Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies.
Outstanding writing/editing skills, with the ability to transform your writing style into the desired voice.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high editorial standards.
A creative mindset and willingness to think outside the box to create engaging content.
Works well in teams and independently.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for social media and websites.
Experience managing multiple social media accounts at one time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve, take initiative, and think outside the box.
Be able to provide benchmarking, audits, and reporting on campaign success.
High-level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Must have 1-3 years of social media platform and content creation experience.
