About the Role
Brightline brings virtual behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where you need it. We are rapidly scaling our nationwide client base of health plans and employers, and are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Operations Manager to help shape the data, reporting, tools, and processes to support our growth. This is a terrific opportunity to work with a broad range of peers and leaders across the company on high-impact projects that enable Brightline’s ongoing success.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations, the ideal team member will have deep expertise working closely with nimble, high growth Sales and Client Success teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Clinical, and Strategy. Responsibilities will span both commercial operations and commercial enablement, with an ultimate focus on ensuring the analytics, tools, processes, and resources we provide to the Chief Commercial Officer and broader commercial team keep pace with our exponential growth.
Why You’re Excited About the Role
Commercial Operations
Data-Driven Decision Making: You will own analyses that inform decisions and reporting across sales forecasts, territory plans, resource allocation, client health, go-to-market strategies and more
Collaboration and Accountability: You will manage weekly meetings of deal reviews and pipeline updates across the commercial team to ensure we maintain and deliver accurate, timely data to our internal stakeholders
Optimized Work Processes: You will support continuous improvement of pipeline management and the use of commercial data by relevant stakeholders in finance, capacity planning, operations, and beyond
Tool Development: You will manage Salesforce and Gainsight as our primary tools, identifying and executing opportunities to give our Sales and CS teams greater lift through technology. You will have a lighter touch role in vendor management across our commercial technology stack
Financial Acumen: You will provide analysis and guidance in partnership with Finance to develop sales targets, effective variable compensation models, and incentive strategies
Commercial Enablement
Drive Engagement: You will design and manage ongoing commercial team trainings about important changes to our products, services, and competitive landscape, in collaboration with Product Marketing and internal subject matter experts
Onboard Talent: You will support onboarding for new commercial team members through a concise but rigorous training module on our key concepts, tools, and processes
Knowledge Management: You will maintain our database of external-facing questions and answers used to support requests for proposals (RFPs) and strategic conversations with clients and prospects. On an ad hoc basis, you will provide project management support to Sales on large, strategic RFPs
Why We’re Excited About You
You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in commercial/business operations, analytics, enablement, management consulting, or similar functions
You have demonstrable experience utilizing strong analytical skills and quantitative aptitude and are intermediate or advanced with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
You have experience with Salesforce management; knowledge of Gainsight and other commercial softwares are also helpful
You have experience presenting to executive teams and preparing slide decks and business insights for board meetings
