Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Manager, Marketing Services to contribute to our Consortium team in our Minneapolis, MN office.
We are seeking a creative individual with a passion for marketing and books to work in our Northeast Minneapolis office. In this role, you will advise independent publishers on traditional and digital marketing campaigns that effectively position their books and guide them to appropriate services. This position focuses on relationships with booksellers, librarians, media and prospective publishers- driving awareness and growth for Consortium. You will create marketing strategies and content that deliver customer conversion, relationships and retention. You’ll also engage customers through online channels, display marketing, social networking and emerging online channels. In addition, you will work with other stakeholders within Consortium and ICG to ensure effective development and implementation of initiatives. You will also supervise and support a marketing specialist and coordinator.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or year for year related experience
1-year prior experience managing a team
5 years’ experience managing marketing programs or related role
Preferred Skills:
Experience creating website, newsletter and blog content
SEO experience
Social media marketing experience
Key Responsibilities:
Project management of Consortium marketing campaigns including title marketing, backlist promotion and PR and recommendations for the most relevant media outlets to best reach target audiences – online, social, digital and traditional.
Strengthens existing client relationships with educational activities newsletters and other communications, training communications and more.
Delivers clear, relevant, imaginative and effective marketing copy and content.
Responsible for identifying, managing and executing requirements to improve online and social performance.
Promotes sales and marketing collaboration and communication to successfully achieve company goals, and roll out marketing programs and campaigns linked to sales activities.
