About the Role:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Manager role at the Cambridge location ensures the receipt and coordination, and safety of people and goods coming through two Warehouse locations within a mile of each other. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Manage through shipping, receiving, auditing, inventory control, customer service, and other operational functions of the facility.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the department employees to achieve safety objectives, inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and on-time delivery.
- Develop clear goals and objectives for area of responsibility as well as gain approval and implement practices and procedures to meet the goals of the business.
- Ensure metrics are in place to ensure progress toward goals and objectives.
- Implement and manage the processes, systems, and structure that ensures warehouse, safety and budgetary commitments are met.
- Ensure metrics are being met to progress towards company goals and objectives
- Develop, track, and manage methods/metrics that provide accurate and timely data and information in support of internal and external customers.
- Manage employee performance. This process includes alignment of employee goals, objectives, and competencies to support business strategies. Manager must have the ability to meet with employee’s on off shift and weekends if needed.
- Continue to enhance knowledge of job related operations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
