Now Hiring - Data Entry Pharmacy Technician - Marlborough, MA.
Hours: M-F Rotating Shifts & Weekends
The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Triage and prioritization of received orders (whether phone, fax or eRX)
Input pharmacy order transmissions form LTC nursing facilities. Orders inclule physician orders, electronic prescriptions, IV infusion compounds, house stock and emergency order requests in a timely and accurate manner according to client-specific criteria while maintaining acceptable production quotas as determined by experience and company policy
Ability to develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy computer systems (ie document imaging, legacy prescription managment programs)
Ability to work well with others, and help to maintain and manage daily workflow
Maintains confidentiality, security and integrity of protected health information
Perform all duties and requests of the supervising pharmacist on staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional Experience:
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
PTCB license, a plus
Experience with Framework Software preferred
Strong knowledge of brand name to generic medications
Familiarity of standard pharmacy SIG codes
1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
