Job Description
The Human Resources Manager oversees and directs the daily activities of HR team members and provides HR support for employee base of 1800+ and 40 locations throughout five states.
Ensure HR policies & procedures are administered consistently with overall company values; work closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations/agencies
Advise Managers in all areas of HR including Recruitment, Benefits, and Employee Relations
Leads in the recruitment process, efficiently and effectively assisting in filling open positions
Administrator for all benefit programs - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability Insurance and Retirement Plan
Provide daily support for HRIS, including security, system updates, process updates, resolving issues and providing training for managers and employees
Conduct investigations into employee relation issues and advise managers on how to address employee issues
Conduct HR training sessions with various levels of management as needed
Continually look for ways to improve all areas of Human Resources
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Human Resources Management or similar role required.
Proficiency in managing human resources information systems (HRIS) is a must; experience working with Paycom is a strongly preferred
Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate well in front of groups
Ability to reason and apply common sense when dealing with problems
