Job Description
Lien Processor
We are growing and are looking for Lien Processors to help process our lien orders. No experience is needed; we will train you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify property information provided by our clients and prepare the file for processing.
Search municipal and county websites for unrecorded liens, such as unpaid property taxes, unpaid utilities, code enforcement violations, special assessments, open and expired permits, etc.
Call the Municipality to verify water, sewer, and trash.
Ensure all follow-up items are completed in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to all clients and interdepartmental requests.
Proactively work on call-back reports daily, with special attention to overdue reports.
Print and retain all responses from municipalities ensuring all files are organized in a timely manner.
Monitor and reply to emails and voicemails in a timely manner.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting required.
Previous experience in real estate, data entry and administrative-type roles is a plus.
Must be quick at typing, great with technology, comfortable with data entry activities, and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Must be able to conduct online research and contact municipalities and other providers as needed.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently with little to no supervision.
