Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Time and a half after 40 hours

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on 53’ trailers.
Minor repairs on door seals, mud flaps, hardware, electrical, routine telematics repairs, minor body work, suspension, brakes, running gears, welding and fabrication.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
Use hand and power tools such as electric drills, grinders, die grinders and other like tools to complete the required operations
Test and inspect equipment after repairs are completed
Properly document all equipment maintenance, repairs and installations into electronic maintenance program/completion of paperwork.
Operates appropriate powered industrial equipment when necessary.
Assist other technicians with reefer and trailer repairs.
Work in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT).
Perform proper safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment, and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policy.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:
Experience is preferred but NOT required.
Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
High school Diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to follow and ensure safety standards and recognize hazards to insure personal and communal/public safety
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
