Plaintiff-side employment law firm seeks full-time Project Assistants to provide administrative and operational support in a fast-paced and collaborative legal work environment. The Employment Law Group (TELG) represents employees who stand up to wrongdoing in the workplace with practice areas including whistleblower, qui tam, and discrimination law. TELG is looking for proactive, highly motivated, detail-oriented individuals with strong organizational and communication skills to join our team as full-time Project Assistants. Successful Project Assistants are equally capable of completing individual tasks and group projects.
Throughout their tenure, Project Assistants assist with current and potential client support, general office maintenance duties, and other general requests as assigned. This position has potential growth opportunities both within the operations team and into other departments.

This position offers a hybrid in-office and remote schedule, requiring at least two days per week in-office on a flexible schedule. Note: New hires will be required to come in-office every day for at least the first two weeks for onboarding and orientation.
Duties include:
- Current or potential client support
o Prioritizing various short-term and long-term projects based on priority level and external/internal deadlines
o Responding to requests from a centralized ticketing system and document, track, and report actions taken to complete request
o Maintaining and responding to long-term and ongoing initiatives
o Performing duties related to document processing and management
o Properly storing and tracking all physical client media received such as phones, hard drives, etc. to be imaged
o Handling outgoing mail requests, assisting with contacting mail carrier if needed, and tracking the package until delivered
o Facilitating monthly focus groups to help test case issues with pool of mock jurors
o Assisting in administrative preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials
- General office maintenance tasks and acting as an operational factotum
o Maintaining the office workroom by ordering supplies, troubleshooting basic issues in the physical office, etc.
o Processing physical and electronic copies of mail received
- Other responsibilities as assigned
o Assisting specialized projects, other potential shorter- or longer-term work, etc.
o Notarizing documents, as needed (hires to become firm-sponsored DC notaries)
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
· Working knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel required, higher-level expertise a plus
· Administrative office work experience preferred but not required
· Database experience a plus
· Good penmanship a plus
· Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
