Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Working within the Content Development and Product Management team the Education Program Coordinator provides support and assistance in the identification, development and delivery of educational programs or initiatives; duties include (but are not limited to) support of internal/external stakeholders, implementation of routine program logistics, use of electronic communications and technology, preparation of reports and documentation, support of budget activities and data collection/input activities. This integral role collaborates and supports the team to develop and deliver high-quality nursing education programs and products to achieve ANA Enterprise goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manages the administrative processes related to the coordination, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational products and services that assist the ANA Enterprise in supporting subsidiary strategies and programs. This includes, but is not limited to:
Assisting the team with the management of subject matter experts
Collaborating with team members to manage data and reports as needed to support activities
Collaborating with team to ensure ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) accreditation standards to achieve ANA Enterprise goals
Assists in achieving goals and outcomes with continuous improvements for increased internal and external customer experiences and satisfaction, helping drive better results and outcomes in relevance, reach and/or revenue
Leverage your analytical skills to evaluate needs, assist development of effective budgets, plans, and goals and to assess and maintain standards
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ANA
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
Related Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated progressively responsible experience effectively managing and coordinating projects and departmental operations and reporting.
Skills
Proven track record of:
Demonstrating a positive and professional attitude
Sustaining high level of personal productivity
Managing multiple competing priorities in an office environment consistently and effectively
Proficiency in use of virtual meeting platforms, presentation applications, database management, report creation, project management, and contract management software
Strong interpersonal, influential, oral, and written communication skills to address inter-and-intra-departmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict
Skill and ability to understand, interpret, follow, and apply organizational policy and procedure, external regulations, and other similar standards and requirements related to assignments and assigned departmental responsibilities
Ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple ongoing projects and tasks; accurately attend to details; adapt to changing priorities and work demands; take initiative; work autonomously with limited supervision; and work collaboratively and effectively within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact and establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Exceptional attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills are required
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience involving educational programming, professional staff development, learning management systems, and reporting
Experience in developing healthcare or nursing programs/products
E-learning related experience preferred
Experience in eCommerce platforms preferred
Work Schedule:
Hybrid: Employees are considered Hybrid if they are regularly scheduled to work in at least 20% of their work week or work month in an ANA Enterprise Office.
Hybrid employees are expected to travel to the office when requested and/or when necessary to achieve results or meet business needs.
