Job Description
Georgia Hand, Shoulder, and Elbow is currently looking to hire a full-time orthopedic technician or medical assistant with orthopedic experience, in our Peachtree location. The role requires a high energy, timely, hardworking, and friendly individual who is looking to work in healthcare. We see a high volume of patients at our orthopedic office, the orthopedic technician will be working with the clinical manager and our team of renowned Orthopedic physicians. The daily duties include: clinic set-up, clean-up, patient interaction, and guiding patient flow in and out of the clinic. This position will also be responsible for casting and some x-ray.
The technician would need to be able to successfully multi-task and handle high stress days and slower volume days while ensuring that the clinic itself is fully stocked, clean, and ready to accommodate the patients.
Education
· Completion of a certified Orthopedic Technology Training program preferred.
· Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
· Certification/Licensure – CPR certification for Healthcare Providers
· Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an Orthopedic setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
