Job Description
Urgently hiring for OPENER (5:00AM) shifts and MIDDAY (Example: 10:00AM-6:00PM/12:00PM-4:30PM) shifts! Also, in need of CLOSERS (Example: 6:00PM-10:45PM).
Bilingual candidates preferred!
Salary: $9.00 - $14.00 per hour DOQ
As a BOH Team Member, you will support the kitchen team, accurately assemble food, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic
- Day positions – must be available between 6am – 5pm on Mondays – Saturdays.
- Evening positions – must be available between 2pm – 10pm on Mondays – Saturdays.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace.
- Ability to show up and have a positive attitude as well as remain coachable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a hot environment for extended periods of time.
- Ability to speak Spanish fluently (bilingual).
- Ability to maintain positive customer-focused relationships with other Team Members, Team/Shift Leaders, General Manager, Owner/Operator, and the general public. Personally demonstrates appropriate customer service skills.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
- Prepare cold individual and catering menu items.
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A Corporate
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Kitchen Manager.
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes.
- Work is performed onsite. The incumbent must be present at work to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Performs all other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational needs.
