Full-Time Duties: Production Scheduler
- Create and maintain a comprehensive schedule of all fabricated parts in support of manufacturing demand.
- Develop and optimize stock levels and run sizes to support production requirements.
- Assess and distribute workloads between fabrication machines work centers.
- Audit work orders for accuracy of raw material issued and production reporting and closes all work orders.
- Evaluate notices-of-change (NOC’s) to determine the impact on fabrication schedules and adjusts as necessary.
- Coordinate fabrication schedules to facilitate new product introductions, prototype orders and pilot runs.
- Maintain an orderly work environment in the scheduling area.
- Actively participate in the Bunn-O-Matic Quality Improvement Process.
- Perform backup role for a variety of different positions in the departments that support business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Full-Time Requirements: Production Scheduler
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Associate degree or Vocational/technical training desired
- 3 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with knowledge of SAP or other manufacturing requirement program (MRP) systems
- General manufacturing floor procedures, work order processes and the scheduling environment preferred
- Ability to handle simultaneous requests
- Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with strong collaboration skills and technologies
- Ability to identify issues/opportunities and recommend solutions
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel with good analytical skills is a plus
- Ability to set priorities and complete work on time and within budget and rapidly learn and communicate new process recommendations
- Ability to exercise initiative and complete assignments efficiently and on time.
- Readily perceives and effectively responds to details essential to effective scheduling.
- Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work overtime, as requested.
