About Fluid Truck
Fluid is a peer-to-peer community truck sharing platform offering businesses and individuals a better way to rent vehicles, and vehicle owners an opportunity to make money. Fluid is rapidly scaling across the US with a proven technology platform that provides a more efficient way of connecting businesses & consumers with trucks.
Fluid allows people and businesses to connect their vehicles to our platform via Fluid Connect (a piece of hardware) that enables Fluid's mobile app to lock/unlock, track fuel/mileage, and mobilize the engine, making any vehicle easily rentable by other businesses and individuals. We enable businesses to dynamically scale up and down without having to take on more overhead, and we enable owners to generate cash from their existing assets and vehicles purchased for investment. We're facilitating more efficient utilization of vehicles around the country.
Fleet Manager
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + Monthly Bonus Opportunity
The salary selected for this position will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities Include:
The Fleet Manager is responsible for the full fleet in multiple markets. A Fleet Manager oversees thousands of vehicles. A Fleet Manager is expected to manage multiple markets in potentially multiple time zones. They have multiple LT’s as their direct responsibility.
Fleet manager is to aspects and issues related vehicle rentals, inventory & managing of people including but not limited to:
Responding promptly to customer & field questions
Coordinating damage claims, maintenance scheduling & management for fleet
Coordinating periodic cleaning & inspections of vehicles
Manage all open issues and ensure service completed by deadline
Managing tolls & transponder placement
Ensuring compliance with local ordinances
Schedule & payroll approval
Sourcing and managing vendor relationships
Work with local dealerships on release of new vehicles
Manage onboarding & offboarding of vehicles
Manage vehicle damage claims
Qualifications recommended:
2 years of fleet management experience
2 years of supervisory/managing a team of employees
Excellent customer relation skills
Collaborate with multiple departments within the organization
Ability to support multiple markets
