Job Description
The Operations Manager helps to ensure successful planning, management, and analysis of clinical practice and academic operations, including program development, information systems, human resources, and compliance, to optimize the Department’s operational support of tripartite activities. This position functions as the principal advisor to the Executive Administrator and senior leadership on all clinical and academic administrative matters pertaining to the Department. The Operations Manager partners with other senior members in the Department, the School, the Health Services Foundation, and the UAB Health System regarding all aspects of clinical and academic program development to ensure timely and fiscally responsible execution. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as HSF and UAB policies and procedures.
Schedule: M-F/8:00-5:00
Position Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or similar field required: minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting: or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
