Job Description
Office Manager - Inventory Control Administrator/Data Entry
Cape Cod Package Store, a 3rd generation, family-owned retail wine, beer and liquor store is hiring! The primary responsibilities include organizing and coordinating administrative duties, office procedures, and managing inventory through data entry. The ideal candidate will create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure a high level of organizational effectiveness, with attention to detail and communication.
This part-time position is an important part of a management team consisting of the owners, store managers, buyers, and store associates.
Job Summary:
To assist in the management of the store by being responsible for daily administrative tasks in the office including;
- Daily reconciliation of cash, credit cards, tips, and lottery
- Data Entry including; product invoices, accounts receivables and payables into the Point of Sale and QuickBooks programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Coordinate with IT vendor on maintenance of office equipment
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
- Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
- Establish and monitor procedures for record-keeping
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
- Analyze and monitor internal processes
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory
- Answer phone calls while in office and direct to voicemails when needed
- Schedule/Track necessary appointments related to maintenance vendors, etc.
- Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals, and reviewing industry publications.
Requirements:
- Proficient in using QuickBooks and Microsoft 365; including Excel, Word, Outlook. Training will be provided for the Spirits POS software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 30-35 hours/week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
