Job Description
Mangan Inc. is an Automation & Engineering Firm, provides the highest quality services for the Refining, Gas & Oil, Pipeline, Renewable, Chemical, and Biopharm Industries. Mangan has over 25 years of experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction with 15+ years of experience in Lifesciences Engineering and Compliance Consulting. Mangan is seeking Data Entry personnel for our SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) group in Sugar Land, Texas. The successful candidate will have a background in oil and gas engineering and design along with a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Must demonstrate the ability to work to a high standard of professionalism within a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting Mangan SPI projects. and clients
Manipulating Excel and Access files for data formatting
Speed and accurate typing of data from hard copies into an electronic format
Education:
High School Degree or Equivalent
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience with data entry
Minimum of 1+ years of basic experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or other software used for data entry
Must know how to correctly implement Microsoft Excel functions such as Vlookups, Concatenation, etc.
Ability to understand and implement provided guidelines for data implementation between source documents and target documents
Ability to show initiative an accept qualified sources; demonstrates dependability, commitment, and involvement to Mangan projects
Ability to interact well and cooperate with co-works on the team
Maintain acceptable quality standard while managing multiple tasks
Effectively communicate with all team levels including written and orally with clients and Mangan personnel
Previous experience as a designer in Oil & Gas a plus
