Job Description
We are actively recruiting for a Medical Assistant interested in a full service, urban, faith-based community health center working primarily with the uninsured and underserved. This is a full time position and available immediately for the right candidate!

Requirements
Experienced Medical Assistant must be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program; certification preferred but not required. Medical Assistant must have current CPR certification. Prior community health center experience preferred, but not required. Experience in a health care setting is desired. Knowledge of medical terminology and the function of medical equipment are expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Applicant will be expected to function independently, while handling a variety of responsibilities. Primary tasks will include telephone and walk in triage, assisting with patient education and back office procedures and referrals.
