Job Description
We are growing and have an immediate opening for an Ophthalmic Assistant or a medical assistant who would like to specialize in Ophthalmology. We are looking for motivated applicants who can be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment, preference for candidates who are quick learners with excellent computer skills. Must be able to travel to satellite offices.
The OA position will be responsible for coordinating patient flow during clinic and performing a full range of ophthalmic functions and testing evaluations. The OA will also assist with injections and laser procedures. 32 plus hours per week. Salary is based on experience level. Get your hours in a 4 day work week!
BASIC KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. A Graduate from a Medical Assistant program. Certified Ophthalmic Assistant designation preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
