Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will support various HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of human resources processes and contributing to a positive workplace environment. This role is essential for managing employee records, assisting in payroll processing, and facilitating talent management initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee timecards and attendance records.
- Facilitate data collection for workforce management reporting and analysis.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Help manage employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members on talent management initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing documents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar HRIS systems; experience with Ceridian is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and workforce management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
