The Spirit of the Position: The Audit, Safety & Security Manager supports the Chicago Parking Meters operation through the management of our standard operating procedures for system integrity, spot audits and strong internal audit controls. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Audit, Safety & Security Manager will act as a liaison between the programs and initiatives originating from our regional and home office and help to support the individual needs of the Chicago Parking Meters operation.
Principal Job Duties:
- Ensuring 24/7 professional management of all functions of the Chicago Parking Meters operation through system integrity checks, meter spot audits, and strong audit controls.
- Ensuring all Concession documents and operating agreement deliverables are in compliance 24/7
- Work with management team to create audit schedules appropriate to the system
- Oversight and management of weekly system checks on employees conducted through 3rd party vendor
- Maintain and update system operations manual on an as needed and annual basis
- Participate in meetings to update the team on progress and results of audits
- Knowledgeable of operational objectives, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain up-to-date reports for all audit functions for the system
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual reports as required
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the audit management for the Chicago Parking Meter System.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of Audit management
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
- Strong customer service skills and abilities.
- Ability to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.

Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
