Job Description
Human Resource Assistant – Entry Level
Job Overview: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resource department. The right individual will be passionate about furthering their HR Career and gain experience to start or complete their degree in Human Resource Management.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform recruiting activities such as phone interviews, reference checks, and schedule final interviews
- Assist HR team with payroll processing activities when needed
- Assist in performing internal audits of records, payroll activities, and taxes
- Work with HR Team to plan and implement process changes
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee training seminars, and company culture events.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Interest in Human Resource career
- In process or aspiration of obtaining Human Resource degree
- Strong customer service skills
- Curiosity and will to learn and grow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new software such as payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS) or similar computer
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
