Medical Records Clerk Job Summary
Our rapidly-growing law practice is seeking a Medical Records clerk. The Medical Records clerk is responsible for submitting record requests, contacting medical providers to obtain medical records and itemized bills, maintaining constant contact with the case manager regarding their needs for medical records, and following up with the medical providers on pending requests to receive records/bills in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
Submitting record requests
Contacting medical providers to obtain medical records and itemized bills
Maintaining constant contact with the case manager regarding their needs for medical records
Following up with the medical providers on pending requests to receive records/bills in a timely manner
Using Filevine to generate and manage records requests
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Perceptive and meticulous, with a thorough understanding of human behavior
Capacity to regulate and perform under stress
High school diploma or equivalent required
CRM and case management software experience a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
Proficiency with editing PDF's
