Job Description
Certified Laboratories has an exciting opportunity for a driven and goal-oriented individual to be a part of our Sample Data Entry/Client Services team. In this key role, you will work closely with all company departments, clients, sample entry, results entry and reporting. Candidate must be able to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday's.
Essential Functions:
Perform high-volume data entry.
Daily interaction with internal and external clients.
Handle multiple assignments, prioritize workload, plan, and organize to keep a smooth and accurate workflow.
Record samples into the Certified Laboratory LIMS, using transmittals, packaging labels and details for the client and test required.
Review all incoming sample information to verify accuracy and efficiency when entering information.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other departments.
Proactively distribute all entered samples to the proper laboratories, according to required tests.
Prepare samples for shipping.
High school degree required; Associates preferred.
Minimum three years’ experience in both numeric and alpha data entry
Must be able to lift samples that weigh 10-40 pounds
Must be detail-oriented with good troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Experience working in a productive environment, handling large volumes of work accurately and within established timelines.
Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
