The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for creating and implementing recruitment strategies, managing team members performance and reviewing continual process improvements to ensure that the best talent is hired into the organization.
Outcomes and Activities:
This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
Develop and lead a team of talent acquisition professionals.
Execute and maintain the entire recruitment lifecycle.
Participate in operational elements of recruitment marketing, sourcing, and recruitment administration.
Prepare recruitment reporting, analyze trends and proactively thinks of ways to improve processes based on data.
Drive innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies to create and enhance team best practices.
Partner with internal customers and support teams to optimize recruitment processes.
Develop and manage external partnerships with vendors, universities, and sourcing partners.
Monitor recruitment costs and ensures right sources are used effectively.
Manage ad-hoc and cross departmental projects as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Optimize Talent Acquisition team member performance through coaching, listening, training and metrics.
Mentor team members in their development by providing feedback, identifying strengths and opportunities, and having continued dialogue about their development.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Focus on active listening when partnering with leaders, team members and peers.
Possess a strong knowledge of HR laws related to recruitment and company practices.
Be organized, detailed and capable of meeting all deadlines.
Understand and interpret information promptly and effectively.
Perform with minimal supervision in a team environment, be motived to help others and self-driven in daily work.
Take ownership of work product, deadlines, team results and decisions.
Provide thoughtful clarity when developing concepts or understanding data.
Interact effectively with a diverse team member population.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities efficiently as needed.
Work with a strong sense of urgency, balanced with clear communication and purpose.
Requirements:
4+ years of recent recruiting experience.
2+ years of experience supervising a professional team OR 2+ years of experience consistently supporting recruitment efforts for Credit Acceptance senior leadership.
Experience supporting high volume class-based hiring efforts.
Experience utilizing Workday Applicant Tracking System (or similar) for reporting and requisitions management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Bachelor’s degree.
Understanding of important hiring best practices and legal requirements.
Experience with passive candidate sourcing and high-volume recruitment.
Targeted Compensation: $119,000 - $138,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.
