COST ACCOUNTANT (Entry Level) (on-site)

Our experienced management, operations, and sales teams introduce technical innovations to optimize customer packaging platforms and drive sustainability initiatives, reinforcing the group’s leadership position in the industry.
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for assessing business expenses and preparing optimized budget plans. This position is salary non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. This position will be on-site with no flexibility to work remotely. The duties include reviewing financial records, researching the market rate for key business costs, and adjusting the company ledger to accurately reflect balance sheets. The Cost Accountant will collaborate with other accounting and financial staff to provide financial and accounting support to department heads who establish goals and budgets.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Collect and analyze data regarding operational costs
Set standard costs of manufactured goods
Develop and analyzing cost standards
Carry out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
Establish costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
Perform account reconciliations
Recommend changes to the processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
Advise management on appropriate costing based on financial data
Manage balance sheet and accounting books
Support other accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel
Advanced Excel with strong report presentation skills
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamic accounting system or similar ERP system
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
CMA/CPA or CPA track preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing accounting
