Clinical Outreach Representative— ABA Centers of Virginia

ABA Centers of Virginia is a healthcare startup experiencing hyper-growth while revolutionizing the autism care field. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to our clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community.We are currently in 6 states with 18 clinical service areas, and our roadmap will bring us to 10 states and more than 50 clinical service areas over the next 12-24 months.

Under the direction of the National Outreach Representative, the Clinical Outreach Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources and establishing a pipeline of prospective new clients. You'll work closely with the clinical team to ensure that all outreach activities align with our organization's mission of providing autism services to more people with little or no waiting period.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Addressing inbound inquiries, including phone calls and emails
- Assisting in establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, parent advocates, influencers, community agencies, pediatric medical groups, and other potential sources of new client referrals
- Developing an active pipeline of potential new clients, updating management and clinical teams regularly
- Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and referral sources as potential new client opportunities
- Maintaining a working knowledge of health insurance in the region to advise caregivers on financing services and aid in qualifying leads
- Managing the intake process, including obtaining demographic, insurance, consent, and other information from prospective clients
- Working with internal benefits coordinators to verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and finalize contracts to provide services
- Handling public-relations activities, including strategic relationships with state and community agencies/advocacy groups and attending regional events
- Assisting the Marketing department in creating press releases, brochures, and other marketing materials
Education, Work-Experience, and Other Requirements
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a business development/sales role with a pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare services organization
- Ability to travel and be on the road 75% of the time
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
- Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
Expertise Needed
- Understanding of ABA, early childhood education, or social services a plus
- Healthcare experience (highly preferred)
- Customer service training with high-level understanding of phone and email etiquette
- Ability to think proactively, collaborate, and adapt to various situations
- Communication and strong follow-up skills
- High energy and the ability to grasp concepts quickly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
