Our Surveillance Radar Development Department has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer / Systems Analyst with expertise in radar system analysis and mode development. You will work with other team members to integrate software and hardware improvements for the Silent Knight Radar System.
Clearance Requirement: Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance, US Citizenship required
Required Qualifications:
5+ years experience radar system analysis and mode development to include requirements development, requirements management, radar algorithm development, verification and validation of algorithms, and flight test data analysis
General Systems Engineering experience to include requirements and algorithm development, modeling and simulation, verification and validation, and data analysis
Experience working within a structured Systems Engineering process environment including a task-oriented, value-based management system
Demonstrated computer programming skills with MATLAB, MathCAD, C++, or related languages and tools
Communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and the ability to effectively communicate with all Stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Terrain Following Navigation concepts and algorithms
Specific knowledge and prior experience with terrain following algorithms and supporting navigational modes used on special operations platforms
Experience with tools such as DOORS and Synergy
Education & Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Technology, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience - OR
Advanced Degree in Engineering, Physics, Technology, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience
