Job Description
The Vice President of Marketing will own corporate marketing responsibilities and will work in a strategic manner directing corporate branding and developing marketing plans to position the company to achieve corporate revenue growth and new business opportunity goals. The Vice President of Marketing identifies opportunities to increase our corporate exposure in aerospace and other industries.
To be successful in this role you must possess excellent written and communication skills, as well as strong organization and planning skills. You must also have Aerospace industry experience, preferably in Composites.
Responsibilities:
Create strategic annual Marketing Plan, oversee implementation
Lead branding efforts and “look” for all marketing related materials
Identify new marketing platforms, develop and implement plans
Develop and monitor the department budget
Lead the content development, writing and publishing of the company’s quarterly magazine, including some technical writing
Lead redesign and launch of the company website
Oversee social media calendar implementation
Write company news releases and arrange for appropriate placement in the media
Identify needed marketing materials and oversee creation and publication
Manage the corporation’s graphic standards, updating as necessary, which includes overseeing the proper use of the company logo
Work with the Sales team to create and implement an annual trade show plan, includes booth design
Work with the Sales and Business Departments as necessary to achieve company and corporate goals
May be assigned to perform market research.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field required
Minimum 10 years related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aerospace industry experience, preferably in Composites.
