As part of Jacobs’ Project Accounting team, you’ll join a group of strategic-focused professionals who support projects worldwide and are known to provide key knowledge and skills utilized by many to expand their career opportunities. Along with your team, you’ll set-up and maintain projects in Oracle, review contract terms, issue and review client invoices, perform monthly reconciliations, and analyze and verify the accuracy of revenue recognition and other project data. You’ll also participate in internal and external audits, prepare retroactive rate adjustments and perform detailed GL analysis to prepare final invoices for federal projects. Your keen attention to detail will lead to your success in performing all these project critical functions.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other Jacobs professionals around the globe from various departments, project teams and with outside vendors, suppliers and clients to resolve cross-functional items. Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred or relevant work experience
Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
Eager, curious and has aspirations to be part of a multi-billion dollar company that challenges the accepted
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with the government contract compliance regulations is a bonus
Must be a US CItizen
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Detail orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage various deadlines and client requirements
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
