Masked Rider Capital is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our family investment office, as an Entry Level Accountant. As a vital member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing various accounting and administrative tasks with a primary focus on financial statements, treasury functions, and vendor relations. This role is well-suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Reporting to CFO
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Statement Preparation:
Produce monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
Lead annual audit process with outside CPA firm.
Treasury Function:
Maintain all bank accounts, cash flow forecasts and money movements for all entities.
Vendor Relations:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
Budgeting/Forecasts
Collaborate with the finance team to obtain budget/forecasts for different portfolio investments, departments, or projects.
Regularly compare forecasted budget figures with actual financial data.
Identify and analyze any significant variances between the forecasts and actuals.
Investigate the reasons behind the variances, consulting with relevant departments or stakeholders when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports outlining the discrepancies and their potential impact on the company's financial performance.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.
Taxation
Lead annual collection of tax information for outside CPA firm.
General Administrative Duties:
Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Assist in other administrative tasks as required to support the finance team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in accounting, or a similar finance role.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly proficient in Excel.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
