Job Description
Charter Manufacturing is a fourth-generation family-owned business where our will to grow drives us to do it better. Join the team and become part of our family!
Charter Manufacturing is now hiring May 2024 graduates into the Finance and Accounting Rotational Program!
The Rotational Program is a great opportunity for new college grads to join a company on a full-time basis to rotate between different teams and company locations throughout a 2-3 year period before taking on a more permanent position within the organization.
Throughout the program, Rotational Analysts gain a wide variety of Finance and Accounting knowledge in addition to a strong overall understanding of the Charter Manufacturing businesses. Dependent on where Rotations become available, short-term relocation may be required.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Excellent academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
High level of initiative for excellence, results, and process improvement
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in leadership roles in work, school, or community
Strong analytical skills
Related internship or work experience
Demonstrated abilities in planning and communication of ideas and concepts
Strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals at all levels within the business
Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel during the program
What we'd prefer:
Working knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Prior experience with ERP systems
What you'll do:
Ability to rotate between different finance and accounting teams throughout Charter Manufacturing. Specific assignments are determined two to three months before the next rotations. Rotations may include both project work as well as day-to-day finance and accounting tasks and responsibilities in order to build foundational skills
Involvement in and completion of projects both individually as well as with cross functional teams within the business. These assignments provide the Rotational Analyst with opportunities to develop core finance and accounting skills, business acumen, systems familiarity, and organizational relationships
Flexibility to work with different direct managers for each rotation, as well as a mentor that will remain the same for the 2-3-year period
Ability to take advantage of opportunities for additional training and development. These include Charter-based classes when available: Professional Presence, Teams and Teamwork, Presentation Skills, Project Management, Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence, and Safety Training. External training as needed for additional skill building
Willingness to be placed in a role within the business that matches interests and talents at the end of the rotational assignment
