Are you looking to kickstart your career in the world of tax and accounting? We are seeking an Entry Level Tax Associate with fantastic attention to detail and communication skills to join our rapidly growing team. As a Tax Associate, you will collaborate with a group of experienced tax professionals to meet independent owner operator truck drivers' tax needs and educate them on best business practices. You will be reaching out to clients via phone and email to capture all their business deductions, reconcile books, and prepare the tax documents necessary to keep our truck drivers business' between the lines!

About the Opportunity:
Passionately share your knowledge as a tax professional by answering client and coworker questions using everyday language
Accurately reconcile clients' books and generate Schedule C information for use on clients' tax returns
Provide exceptional customer service by proactively reaching out to clients and supporting them throughout the tax process
Ensure that all work produced by the tax team meets ATBS' high standards for quality and established due diligence parameters - we strive for perfection and take pride in our work!
Efficiently prepare a high volume of individual federal, state, and local income tax returns
Proactively support the team and contribute to the growth and success of ATBS
About Your Expertise:
Progress toward an applicable Associate's or Bachelor's degree is required
Strong analytical, computer, and math skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and processes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work additional hours when required
Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
Customer service experience is preferred
Experience preparing individual tax returns with Schedule C's is preferred
Knowledge of tax rules and regulations is preferred
Participation in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program or a similar program is preferred
Experience using CCH tax software is preferred
