Job Description

standards of excellence and innovation. We are looking for a highly motivated entry-level
Accounting clerk with an emphasis in payroll to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate
should have good attention to details, excellent oral and written communication skills and be
able to prioritize and organize tasks using Excel, QuickBooks, Service Titan, and other MS Office
tools.
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. This
position will mainly be responsible for collecting time keeping information, review it for
accuracy and make necessary corrections to ensure that the weekly payroll reflects correct
hours and commissions paid for all employees. This includes verifying the amount of time
worked by hourly and salaried employees, and any information regarding personal time off
claimed for a given period. Although the majority of the work will involve performing payroll
activities, the Accounting Clerk may be called upon to complete other book keeping or general
clerical tasks. Office hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for weekly payroll preparation and processing;
- Collect all timesheets from staff and review for accuracy;
- Research, responds and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks
- Ability to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
- Ability to effectively communicate information to employees and management.
- Respond to employee requests for information/reports, as needed.
- Accurately maintain and promptly update employee information in the Payroll system
- Process payroll adjustments related to vacation, leaves of absence, and work closely
- Review payroll input worksheets for accuracy;
- Maintaining payroll operations by following polices and procedures
- Monitor Accounting Email Inbox and route requests accordingly;
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information.
- May perform other duties as assigned and other clerical tasks including typing, filing,
correspondence, delivering or picking up materials.

Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent required- college degree a plus
- 1+ year accounting or administrative experience
- Prior payroll experience- a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Service Titan- a plus
- Accurate data entry
- Must have skills in accuracy and attention to detail, including timely follow-up in
- Multilingual – a plus
