You will lead the Nation’s premier gateway to space for National Security, Civil and Commercial payloads into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. ENSCO Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Architect. In this role the successful candidate will work closely with the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) to provide the implementation, integration, and operation of architectural products.
Duties will Include:
- Become the resident Enterprise Architect (EA) expert for the LTRS
- Support development of the Spaceport of the Future (SOTF) long-range capabilities roadmap and project portfolio
- Develop architectural products to identify a capability roadmap and capability gaps, risks to achieving the capability roadmap, and an investment portfolio to mitigate the risks.
- Research, develop, document, and analyze architecture views and data to identify capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls
- Prepare, staff, and publish formal architecture views and data
- Work with the functional subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Support program management processes for affordability and the development of decisional products across architecture, risk, and investment portfolio
Qualifications Required (Skills)
- Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering with 3 years of experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) related topics or 8+ years of EA experience in lieu of BS degree.
- A strong and detailed understanding collaborative software for integrated architecture, risk, and project planning.
- Hands-on experience modeling architectures using industry standard enterprise architecture frameworks (DoDAF, ToGAF, FEA Cert).
- Experience with the framework development and design.
- An analytical mindset, and strong communication skills to engage with our customer.
- Willingness to learn new skills that help grow themselves and the company by developing new, innovative solutions to the hardest problems in our field.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication.
- Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills.
- ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Qualifications Desired
- Experience working on the Launch Test Range System (LTRS).
- Experience performing risk assessments.
- Experience with project management tools such as Team Share, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience with configuration and data management.
- TS/SCI clearance.
