The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
Global Treasury is looking for an energetic, team player to join our Solutions & Consulting organization. This role will be instrumental in supporting the maturity cycle of our recent SAP implementation. In this position, you will leverage your accounting experience and SAP knowledge to drive our technology modernization.
Uses Treasury expertise to maximize operational effectiveness through partnerships with Treasury, business unit(s), and vendor stakeholders. Provides technical assessments using data analysis and business process to identify opportunities to solve Treasury and stakeholder challenges. Leads projects or project steps within a broader initiative and has accountability for ongoing Treasury activities and objectives while driving enhancements and rollout for company-wide initiatives. Is a role model and mentor for teammates by supporting the development of their capabilities.
Change management skills, accounting knowledge, and SAP (S4 Hana) experience are strongly preferred capabilities.
This is a Hybrid position and will require a minimum of 2 days in office.
Responsibilities:
Manages and executes projects, that are non-cyclical and varied, aligning with the project management life cycle (initiating/defining; planning; executing; close-out) and supporting business priorities, while keeping compliance controls top of mind.
Provides leadership and direction to business unit(s) and Corporate Finance by consulting on efforts impacting the Treasury functions.
Independently conducts moderate to high complexity analysis and can quantify results to speak to trends or problem solve.
Provides technical and analytical assessments of current issues facing Treasury and business stakeholders to uncover actionable insights to solve problems and lead to improvements.
Engage and negotiate (SLA`s, contracts, etc.) with external agencies/organizations such as financial institutions and software providers, to evaluate and implement products on behalf of Treasury and the business units.
In collaboration with business partners, leverages applicable systems, data, and process expertise to support Treasury and Liberty Mutual strategic priorities and achieve business outcomes.
Actively coaches and develops staff to achieve department objectives and advance the capabilities of the team.
Builds a culture of innovation to continuously improve processes to ensure work is performed in the most efficient and effective means possible.
Ensure continued operational excellence by supporting team and management as needed.
Qualifications
Certified Treasury Professional preferred
Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required
SAP (S4 Hana) strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of finance experience
Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results
Communicates and collaborates well with own team and across organizational boundaries to ensure the successful completion of shared goals
Comfortable leading meetings and able to communicate issues and trends to senior management and other groups at the appropriate level of detail
Solid understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods
