Overview:
The Group Billing & Collection Coordinator is responsible for coordinating group advanced deposits schedules and collecting & posting payments. Prepare all group account billings according to company policy and procedure. Job responsibilities will include group accounts billed within the standard time required, preparation of bill with all back up documentation attached, review statement before mailing to ensure accuracy and accordance with group contract, maintain complete files for all accounts and attend pre/post-convention meetings and meet with clients for bill reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS
What are we looking for?
A minimum (1) year of experience in the and/or marketing and/or hotel field required.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Opera, and Amadeus
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.
Able to use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and modify advance deposit schedules.
Manage Pre collection Process to included weekly Billing reports
Collect payments according to schedules and post.
Runs revenue reports as needed
Manages 3rd party billing accounts

Become familiar with Hotel Operations
Prepare all group account billings according to company policy and procedure. Job responsibilities will include group accounts billed within the standard time required, preparation of bill with all back up documentation attached, review statement before mailing to ensure accuracy and accordance with group contract, maintain complete files for all accounts and attend pre/post-convention meetings and meet with clients for bill reviews.
Create Group Master Accounts, compile charges, check off all entries to original tickets and prospectuses; make corrections for posting errors & service disputes; attend pre & post-convention meetings
Work closely with various departments to achieve financial success with groups from pre-arrival through final bill.
Assist Credit Manager in group billing processes
