Job Description
Job Summary:
The Director of Outreach works to create, develop, and coordinate comprehensive marketing plans and outreach initiatives, which include written, visual, and electronic communications. This position also oversees the policies and strategic plan for outreach programs, which include budgeting, communication, education, marketing, and event coordination.
Job Duties:
Develop and implement a marketing plan that includes advertising, social networks, web page development, events, presentations, and meetings, in conjunction with the strategic plan of Health West
Oversee the company’s social media profiles and on-line presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
Oversee the Health West web page
Develop marketing strategies and implements marketing campaigns that enhance the organization's brand and increase community awareness
Develop and maintain market analytics in support of opportunity assessment and strategic planning
Develop and maintain new patient analytics and event analytics
Create and deliver press releases, articles, advertisements, and other marketing materials
Monitor and maintain awareness of relevant competitors, industry updates and partner facilities
Track, measure, and analyze initiatives to report on social media and outreach event ROI
Serve as a liaison between contracted marketing organizations and Health West
Uplift, encourage, and collaborate with other team members to ensure the highest quality of service is provided
Other duties as assigned by the COO or CEO
Additional Responsibilities:
Must be able and willing to travel as needed, have dependable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance
Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors in marketing, public relations, management, or health care administration required
3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, outreach and strategic planning preferred
Experience in a healthcare preferred
Willingness to work weekends and/or evenings for community events
Ability to speak effectively before groups and actively engage the general public in outreach situations.
